The Indian Metal Finishing Industry was brightened aglow in 1991 with the entry of Artek Surfin Chemicals Ltd., which is part of a Rs. 6 billion annual turnover group, comprising of banners like the Texport Syndicate, etc. Although the Company is only seven years old, the people at the core of our operations have been in the field for the past 36 years. They have long standing experience in virtually all areas of Metal Finishing, Electroplating and ( P.C.B's ) Printed Circuit Boards, encompassing products, processes and services.
As a young Company, our efficiently structured approach is oriented to customers and markets.Today, Artek has three manufacturing plants in India , two of which occupy a total area spanning 35,000 sq.ft. Our Mumbai plant is centrally located in the suburban industrial area of Andheri, which is easily accessible by road, rail and air. Our Vasai plant in Thane district ( adjoining Mumbai ), comprises of three two storeyed buildings that house spacious store rooms, mini Pilot Plants, R & D Instrumentation Laboratories, besides state-of-the-art routine manufacturing and processing facilities. Our manufacturing effort is backed by extensive dealer outlets spread throughout the country and in Asia .
We have set high standards for Quality. All our incoming raw materials and our suppliers have been given stringent specifications for the raw materials. Simultaneously, all our outgoing finished products are thoroughly tested as per the ISO 9002 standards, at our quality control facilities, before the said products leave our factory for application at our various consumer outlets. Our Product profile is a short synopsis covering the entire spectrum of the products manufactured in-house for various applications in the industry.
The Company has a dedicated group of professionals and a complient of more than 300 employees who are ceaselessly striving to build the Company into a world class Metal Finishing outlet. We have geared ourselves by achieving ISO 9002 for our manufacturing, supplying and technical backup services. Due to the combined efforts of our employees and our management, Artek registered a phenomenal average of 40% growth per annum consequently for the last 5 years whereas the industry growth rate has been only 12% in India .
